How a studio became a product company
We were a software company for hire
Companies came to us with a problem and a deadline. We built the platform, the app, the integration, the dashboard — whatever the problem actually needed — and handed it over working. Some of those systems are still running.
We learned where software really breaks
Not in the demo. In the payment edge case at month four, the partner job board with no clean API, the shipping integration that has to reconcile every night, the map that has to stay fast on a three-year-old phone.
So we stopped splitting our attention
We closed the studio to build one product of our own — with the same team, and everything we had learned building for everyone else. That product is where all of our focus goes now.
